About Us

The Independent Insurance Agents of Hampden County is a group of insurance agents, companies and vendors who believe strongly in the independent agency system. The purpose of our organization is to promote it for what it is — the best and most effective distribution system of insurance products.

We promote that purpose through our regular luncheon meetings which are always spotlighted with programs directed to current events in our business. We hold an annual golf tournament that helps us raise funds and execute our public awareness campaign which consists of radio, print and other media outlets. Our campaigns promote the independent agent distribution of insurance products and services, awareness of insurance coverages as well as advocacy of legislative concerns.

Our members take pride that we are the best educated in our business. Our association promotes education to our membership and offers free educational seminars to its members.
